Get ready to ignite your competitive edge under the lights! Friday Night Lights Open Play is for players who thrive on high-stakes, intense matchups and want to compete with the best. With a strict paddle-up system, you’ll face fresh challengers every game, keeping the pace fast and fierce. This isn’t just casual play—it’s where serious competitors come to dominate the court, push their limits, and battle it out for the win. If you’re ready to bring your A-game, Friday night is your time to shine.
For Open Play at The Picklr, we use a paddle-up system to keep the competition moving efficiently. Here’s how it works:
Our queue is located between courts 5 and 8, where players waiting for their next game place their paddles in a line, creating an organized rotation. We play doubles, so when a court opens, the first four paddles in the line are taken for that game. Players retrieve their paddles and head directly to the open court to start their match.
After their game, players who wish to rejoin place their paddles at the back of the queue, allowing others the opportunity to rotate in. This setup keeps play fast-paced and fair, letting everyone know when their turn is up while ensuring a steady mix of opponents for a night full of competitive action.
